I want to do a little study, I am going to focus on one of the amendments in the Bill of Rights at a time and see if Washington is trying to uphold them or to eradicate/ignore them. So here goes I don't know how long I will take for each amendment, but I will stay on it as ling as I keep finding Information.

The Bill of Rights

1. Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

example 1. silencing Free Speech: Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell's decision to go to the Senate floor on Tuesday to call out the Obama administration for using the full power of a federal regulatory agency to suppress free speech -- specifically, to silence Humana's predictions about the impact of proposed ObamaCare cuts to the Medicare Advantage program -- led ABC, but not CBS or NBC, to air a story on the “gag order.” Yes ABC talked about this story. So Obama did not like Humana speaking out against his plan and would not allow them to send out their flyers to their customers

lets go a little more in depth on this story:The federal government resorted to bullying tactics when it ordered an investigation of Humana — one of the country’s biggest private insurers — for its decision to send customers a letter alerting them about pending health reform legislation, a leading Republican charged Wednesday.

U.S. health officials launched the probe after the Louisville-based company mailed a letter to patients enrolled in its Medicare Advantage plans — private options that replace standard Medicare — warning that President Obama’s health overhaul could eliminate important benefits of the program. Strike one for Washington for limiting the freedom of speech.

Obama building an Army?
Obama stated during the Elections that "we cannot continue to rely only on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives that we've set. We've got to have a civilian national security force that's just as powerful, just as strong, just as well funded.
Who is he talking about? Since his roots are "Community Organizing" could it be Acorn? Americorp? What does he mean by just as strong and well funded as our military?
What do you think? I would like to here your thoughts on why we would need such a group, or why this is a scary scenario that could lead us towards a tyranny style government.

Our Government was based on the People's Laws style of Government That was used by the Isrealites and the Anglo-Saxons. Both these people believed that the people should have the power. That Government needs to be in the middle of the right (Anarchy) and the Left (Tyranny). The first seal that was proposed for the U.S.A. by Thomas Jefferson, John Adams, and Benjamin Franklin had a picture representing the Isrealites with the Pillar of fire on one side and on the other side a picture oh Hengist and Horsa. They were the Brothers that first brought their people to England and taught them the People's Law. (The 5000 Year Leap, Skousen, 1981 pg.17)
